Dapper Woodworks launched in 2017 as a faithful side hustle for founder Justin. Years of hard work and consistency paid off, and in 2024 he took the business full-time.

While Dapper had built a loyal following of aesthetically minded customers, the original logo and visual identity were starting to feel limited and out of sync with what the brand had become. Dapper was ready to grow—and needed a brand that could grow with it.

Through our discovery process, we uncovered a distinct and unexpected visual direction: a blend of mid-century tailoring and classic menswear. This premium, fashion-forward approach avoided the typical sawblades-and-chisels vibe common in woodworking brands, and instead created stronger resonance with both longtime fans and new customers.

We developed a modular logo system with primary and alternate marks (including a subtle nod to the original), a robust visual language inspired by menswear patterns and textures, and a messaging framework shaped by real audience insight.

Now, Dapper has a brand that reflects the quality, care, and craft already happening behind the scenes—and the confidence to keep building on the momentum ahead.
